Ms. Michelle Dubuisson of Oxford and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Rogers of Thaxton, announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Michelle Rogers, to Adam Zachary, son of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Hamblin and Mr. and Mrs. Tim Zachary, all of Houlka.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jerry and Betty Rogers of Okolona and Frankie and Wanda Ellis of Pontotoc and Marti and the late Ron Stark of Oxford. She is the great granddaughter of Hazel Ellis of Okolona.
She is a 2008 special honor graduate of South Pontotoc High School and a graduate of KC’s School of Hair Design. She is employed by The Salon.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Cathy Rogers and the late Billy Rodgers of Houston, Carvie Gore and the late Eunice Gore in Houston and Delores Zachary and the late Dwight Zachary of Houlka.
He is a graduate of Houlka Attendance Center and a graduate of Itawamba Community College. He is currently enlisted in the National Guard after serving two tours of duty in the U. S. Army and is employed with his family’s business.
The couple will exchange vows at 7:30 p.m. June 14, 2014, at the residence of Lee and Wendy Rogers of Thaxton. A reception will follow. Family and friends are invited.
