RANDOLPH – Frances Marie Douglas, 87, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at her residence in Randolph. She was born to Carl and Evie Peters Frasure on Jan. 12, 1927.
She later married Lowell Douglas. She was a Christian and a member of Tibbs Baptist Church. She worked at Brookwood Furniture for several years.
Services will be Thursday, June 5, at 11 a.m. at Baldwin Nowell Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Rocky Watts officiating. Graveside service will follow in Oak Forest Cemetery. Baldwin Nowell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by six sisters, Louise Douglas, Nell Walton, Syble Patton, Jimmie Warren, Lula Allen and Melba Warren; one brother, L.A. Frasure; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lowell Douglas; her son, Richard Douglas; two sisters, Josie Allen and Estelle Waldo; and one brother, Spencer Frasure.
Pallbearers to serve will be her nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday from 10 until service at 11 a.m. at Baldwin Nowell Funeral Home.
