Annette Melton

HOUSTON – Annette C. Melton, 59, died Friday, May 16, 2014, at Sanctuary Hospise House in Tupelo. She was born Dec. 19, 1954, in Pontotoc to Clint Clements and Joyce Tutor Clements. She was retired from MTD, where she worked as a welder/leader. She was a Baptist.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 18, at Southern Funeral Chapel in Houston. Bro. Junior Richey will officiate. Burial will be in Gibbs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
She is survived by her children, Tina (Mike) Bryant of Houston, O.L. (Rendie) Melton III of Woodland, and Crystal (Joey) Haire; one sister, Betty Chilcutt of Pontotoc; two brothers, Roger (Debbie) Clements of Pontotoc and Kim (Cindy) Clements of Ecru; four grandchildren, Ashley Moore, Michael “Bubba” Bryant, Harlie Bryant and Alysa Haire; and three great-grandchildren, Skylar Moore, Bentley Bryant and “”Baby”” Moore.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clint and Joyce Clements; her husband, Oliver L. Melton Jr.; and a brother, Avis Clements.
