TUPELO – Howard Glenn Belk Sr., 47, died Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at the Golden Living Center in Tupelo. He was born April 25, 1967, to the late John Belk and the late Patsy Ruth Harrell Belk.
He was a 1987 graduate of Houston School, a former employee of Franklin Industries and a deacon at Trinity Church of God in Christ.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 10, at Trinity Church of God in Christ. Elder Glenn Huggin will officiate. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery in Woodland. Williams Memorial of Okolona is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Tracy Cumming Belk of Tupelo; three daughters, Shawanda Ford (Raphael) of Milwaukee, Wis., Redricka Belk and Andrea Belk, both of Tupelo; one son, Howard Belk Jr. of Tupelo; two sisters, Annette Ivy (Esther) and Lesia Lee of Houston; three brothers, John Belk and David Belk of Houston, and Micheal Belk of West Memphis, Ark.; two grandchildren, Hailee and Jordan.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Diane Townsend.
