WEST POINT — James “Jim” Jolly, 41, passed away Monday, April 21, 2014, at his home in West Point of a sudden illness.
Jolly was born in West Point and later moved to Dallas, Texas where he operated a construction company and window blind business. An avid outdoorsman, Jolly loved to hunt and fish. He knew Jesus.
Memorial services are set for 6 p.m. Monday at Calvert Funeral Home in West Point with visitation starting at 5. Jolly’s ashes will be scattered at his favorite hunting and fishing spots.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Adron Lou Hollingsworth Jolly of Dallas; and his grandfather, Waymon Bill Reid of West Point.
Jolly is survived by his daughter, Kayden Jolly of Dallas; a brother, Jeff Jolly of West Point; his grandmother, Allie Mae Reid of West Point; uncle Jack Hollingsworth of Florida; aunts Ruth H. Self of Atlanta, Judy (Billy Wayne) Coleman of Houston and Sara (Floyd) Ingram of Houston.
