CALHOUN CITY — Jonathon Edward West, 43, died Thursday, April 10, 2014, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. He was born April 9, 1971, in Oxford to Larry West and Prentice Ann Easley West.

He was a truck driver for Hardin Brothers and a member of Vardaman First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Sally Lofton West of Calhoun City; three daughters, Brittany Tallent of Starkville; Courtney Campbell of Bruce and Caitlin Hamilton of Oxford; two sons, Davan Tallent of Calhoun City and PFC Bryan Hamilton of Ft. Stewart, Ga.; one sister, Myra Bumgart of Pittsboro; two brothers, David Tallent of Senatobia and Kenneth Tallent of Vardaman; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 12, at Pryor Funeral Home Chapel in Calhoun City. Bro. Danny Spratlin and Bro. Buford Usery will officiating. Burial will be in Pittsboro Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Davan Tallent, PFC Bryan Hamilton, Damon Bumgart, Josh Tallent, Jeremy Tallent, Eric Tallent, Blake Tallent and Austin Tallent.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Pryor Funeral Home in Calhoun City.
