Peggy Bigham

PHEBA – Peggy Boyette Bigham, 80, passed away April 4, 2014, at North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point. She was born Jan. 9, 1934, in Mathiston, the daughter of William Clay and Mattie Ruth Tollison Boyette. She was a retired seamstress with Monte Glove, a retired school bus driver and a Baptist. She married Emmett Jefferson Bigham on Dec. 5, 1953, in Webster County, and he passed away Aug. 7, 2013.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, April 7, at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Terry Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow in Pheba Cemetery. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Phillips (Lamar) of Van Vleet and Brenda Washington (Bob) of Pheba; three sons, Royce Bigham (Linda) of West Point, Dale Bigham (Angel) and Patrick “”Tenny”” Bigham, both of Pheba; granddaughters, Julie Word, Melanie Gordon, Faith High, April Bigham, Erica Bigham, Elisha Cohea, Jennifer Stovall, Jessica Bigham, Lacy Bigham and Emily Bigham; 46 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Randy Boyette (Sandra) of Columbus, Larry Boyette (Mary Jane) of Blue Ridge, Texas and Donald Boyette (Carolyn) of Huntsville, Ala.; and daughter-in-law, Louise Bigham of Pheba. 
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sons, Emmett “Sonny” Bigham and Gary Lynn Bigham; her sister, Dorothy Fulgham; and her brother, William Boyette.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Lamar Bigham, Nicholas Bigham, Michael Cohea, James Cohea, Robert Washington, Joby Washington, Lyndale Bigham, Johnathan Bigham, Samuel Bigham, Jason Bigham, Dwayne Bigham, Gary Bigham and Will Phillips.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Andrew Wartak, Jimmy Wilbourn, Wally McGee, Jessica Flemmings, Jean Morton and the nurses and staff of North Mississippi Medical Center Home Health Care.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
