Tomey honored by McDonald’s

McDonald-Arches-Art.jpgHOUSTON – Local McDonald’s® owner-operator Robert Tomey was recently honored by his peers for his investment to upgrade and provide a clean, quality restaurants for his customers.

Tomey received the prestigious Place Award at the annual McDonald’s Great Southern Region meeting of the Regional Owner-Operator Association held recently in New Orleans.

Tomey, who owns and operates seven McDonald’s restaurants, including the Houston McDonald’s on North Jackson Street, has been part of the McDonald’s system for 36 years.

Tomey and his staff were recognized for having partnered with the region to invest in the development of a modernized market place, delivering excellent customer service, updating to build the McDonald’s brand and growing market share during peak periods.

Tomey has recently remodeled five of his seven restaurants, including the Houston restaurant which was reworked this past summer. Tomey and his organization are committed to ensuring that restaurant equipment and physical plant are consistently maintained.
