Pulliam lead NAIA in FG percentage


BLUE MOUNTAIN – Blue Mountain College senior, DeVante Pulliam, currently leads the nation among National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics in free throw percentage.
The 6’4″ Pulliam is a graduate of Houston High School and, as of Jan. 21, had connected 94 of 129 shots from the line this season for 72.9 percent.
Pulliam is also averaging 13.8 points per game and 4.9 rebounds for the BMC Toppers.
In over three seasons of play, Pulliam has made 62 percent of his field goals, scored 959 points and snagged 623 rebounds.
Pulliam has been a starter on the hard court since his ninth grade year at Houston High School under coach Bruce Franks and was selected All District and All North Half for 2009-10.
He is majoring in Biology at Blue Mountain College.
