Jeanette ‘Sis’ Houser

HOUSTON – Jeanette “”Sis”" Houser, 75, died Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014. She was born Jan. 18, 1938, in Webster Parrish, La., to Leslie and Odie K. Crouch.

She was a charter member of Parkway Baptist Church in Houston.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, at Memorial Funeral Home in Houston with Bro. Randy Rinehart officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
She is survived by her husband, Leon “Speedy” Houser of Houston; one daughter, Gail Galloway (Gary Washington) of Randolph; three grandchildren, Leslie Ford (Johnny) of Chelsea, Ala., Brian Galloway (Tiffany) of Houlka and Hunter Galloway of Randolph; four great-grandchildren, Hillary, Amberly, JohnMargaret and Weston; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Eddy Houser; her parents; five brothers; and three sisters.
Pallbearers will be Gary Washington, Johnny Ford, Delane “”Flip”" Finley, Rickey Miller, Jimmy Simmons and Jimmy Morris. Honorary pallbearers will be Parkway Ladies II Sunday school class.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Memorial Funeral Home.
