CEDAR BLUFF – Robert Benjamin Darsey, 37, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born Feb. 18, 1976, in Natchez to Robert and Mary Lou Darsey.
He graduated from West Point High School and attended Mississippi State University. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and owner of B&S Farms.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15, at First United Methodist Church at West Point with Rev. Jeff Shannon officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Robinson Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, Shonda Easterling Darsey of Cedar Bluff; son, Levin Alexander Darsey of Cedar Bluff; daughters, Mary Lynnon Darsey and Matilyn Loe (Mattie Belue) Darsey of Cedar Bluff; parents, Robert and Mary Lou Darsey of West Point; and sister, Janna Murry (Brant) of West Point.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Allen and Maxine Hinshaw, and Ben and Otis Darsey.
Pallbearers will be Jonas Robinson, Byron Prince, Chris Reed, Cecil Farrell, Brad Judson, Sam Marshall, Scott Marshall and Barnes Marshall. Honorary pallbearers are Brad Burgess, Chuck Caldwell, Emiley Malone, Jennifer Henry, Terri Myers and Andre Quinn.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday at First United Methodist Church.
