NETTLETON – Jolly Wofford, 53, died Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born Jan. 3, 1960, in Prairie to Otha Wofford Sr. and Elsie Hatchett Wofford. He was a former employee of United Furniture and a member of Nettleton Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15, at Nettleton Primary School. Bishop Erbie Word will officiate. Burial will be in Verona Cemetery. Williams Memorial of Okolona is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are his wife, Glendora Adams Wofford of Nettleton; two sons, Reginald Adams and Jolly Wofford Jr. of Nettleton; six sisters, France Randle (Walter) and Martha Rupert (L.B.) of Prairie, and Polly Buford (Willie), Minnie Deans (C.D.), Carolyn Wofford and Elizabeth Wofford, all of Houston; five brothers, Billy Wofford of Wichita, Kan., Jerry Wofford (Lillie) of Canton, Ohio, and Windell Wofford, Andy Wofford (Teresa) and Otha Wofford Jr. (Linda), all of Prairie; four grandchildren, Prenetia, Amber, R.J. and Ayla.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
