Robert Easley

American_OBIT_flag_2a_310ZHOULKA – Robert Andrew “”R.A.”” Easley, 81, died Friday, Dec. 6, 2013, at his home in Houlka. He was born Feb. 12, 1932, in Blytheville, Ark., to Wade Earnest Easley and Mary Opal Griffin Easley. He was the owner and operator of Easley’s Supermarket and Houlka Oil Company. He was a member of Schooner Valley Baptist Church.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, at Schooner Valley Baptist Church with the Rev. David Blackwell and the Rev. Linn Hughes officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Collums Cemetery in Bruce. Houston Funeral Home of Houston is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Lura Rea Brasher Easley of Houlka; his daughters, Cathy and David Campochiaro of Germantown, Tenn., and Dianne and Eric Wade of Nashville, Tenn.; his grandchildren, Joseph Campochiaro, Blake Campochiaro, Nicholas Campochiaro, Robert Campochiaro, Caroline Wade and Andrew Wade; his sister, Mary Kinard of Hernando.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Marjorie Caviness; his brothers, Charles Delane Easley, Theo Easley, Donald Easley, Wade Easley Jr. and the Rev. Buford “”Boots”” Easley.
Pallbearers are Joseph Campochiaro, Blake Campochiaro, Nicholas Campochiaro, Robert Campochiaro, Andrew Wade, Jimmy Wayne Collums, Skip Winters and Dustin Eaton.
Visitation will be 2 until 4 p.m. Saturday and from 1 until 2 p.m. Sunday at Schooner Valley Baptist Church.
