MONROE COUNTY — Little Caesars has Aberdeen and Amory on its radar for potential locations, and is seeking an entrepreneur interested in making them a reality.

“We would like to see stores in Aberdeen and Amory because both markets are ideal for development,” said Dan Ducharme, director of franchise development for Little Caesars. “We’ve had strong growth in the last 10 years and want to branch out to smaller areas where the workforce can appreciate our product,”

Nation’s Restaurant News ranked Little Caesars the fastest-growing pizza franchise in the U.S. last year. In Northeast Mississippi, the company has locations in Tupelo, Starkville, Columbus, Corinth, Booneville, Oxford and Holly Springs.

West Point also is another potential site for the company.

Privately held Little Caesars is the third-largest pizza chain in the U.S., trailing only Pizza Hut and Domino’s. Last year, Little Caesars pulled in $2.9 billion in sales.

Overall, the company is the 19th largest food-service chain in the country, according to NRN. McDonald’s tops the list with $35.6 billion.

Detroit-based Little Caesars has opened some 450 in the past two years and has nearly 3,700 stores nationwide.

The estimated initial investment required per franchise location ranges from $221,290 to $653,540 for a standard Little Caesars carry-out location.

The company also gives additional help to veterans looking to open a franchise.

The total benefit for entrepreneurs who are service-disabled veterans can be as much as $68,000, which includes eligibility of a waived $20,000 franchise fee and a $10,000 credit on the initial equipment order and grand opening marketing support.

All qualified honorably discharged veterans receive a $5,000 reduction of the franchising fee, financing benefits and a $5,000 credit on the equipment order for the first store.

“We want hands-on operators whether they have one store or 10 stores,” Ducharme said.
