She was a member of Poplar Springs CME Church and the Chancel Choir. She was a former employee of North Mississippi Medical Center.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, at Poplar Springs in Shannon with the Rev. Dr. Clementine Mayes officiating. Williams Memorial is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors are her husband of 38 years, Joe Willie Hopson; one daughter, Ashley Hopson; three sons, Charles (Lisa) Hopson, Lee Hopson and Travis Hopson, all of Okolona; four sisters, Stella Fields (Andrew) of Verona, Doris Miller and Florence Miller, both of Okolona, and Kathy Pulliam of Shannon; six brothers, Rev. Henry Miller (Vera), Otha Miller (Dorothy) and Paul Isby (Yolanda), all of Shannon, Earnest Miller of Plantersville, Sherod Miller and Patrick Miller of Verona; and 16 grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday with a wake from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at Williams Memorial Chapel.
