Bart and Melanie Munlin of Houston are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Mary Elizabeth Munlin, to Adam Elias Arredondo, son of Elias and Glenda Arredondo of Vicksburg.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Robin and Shirley Mathis of Houston and Wayne and Dovie Munlin of Houlka.
Miss Munlin is a 2008 honors graduate of Houston High School and attended Mississippi State University. She is a 2012 honors graduate of William Carey University in Hattiesburg with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion with an emphasis in Biblical Languages. She is employed as a reference librarian at Delgado Community College in New Orleans and plans to begin work on her Masters degree in Library Science in the spring.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Jesus and Lydia Arredondo of Salamanca, Mexico, and Joyce Rose and the late Glendon Rose of Woodland, California.
Mr. Arredondo is a 2006 graduate of Vicksburg High School and attended Mississippi State University where he played trumpet in many musical groups and ensembles. He is a professional musician and band manager in New Orleans.
The couple will exchange vows on December 14, 2013 at 1 p.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church in Covington, Louisiana. There will be a reception to follow.
