HOUSTON – Larry Wayne Easley, 57, died Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013. He was born Dec. 21, 1955, in Chickasaw County to George Guinn Easley and Mabelene Lewis Easley. He was of the Primitive Baptist faith. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and his family, working with his farmers and drag racing on the weekends. He was someone who would give his shirt off his back before thinking of himself.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, at Memorial Funeral Home in Houston with Bro. Randy Hays officiating. Burial will be at Enon Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Denise Collums Easley of Houston; his daughter, Angela Dawn Blakely (James “Dee”) of Houston; his parents, George and Mabelene Easley; four grandchildren, Stephen Wayne Winter Jr., Tristen Brady Winter, Heather Rae Blakely and Makayla Dawn “K.D” Blakely, all of Houston; one sister, Sarah McCrary of Houston; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be his farmers he served and his racing friends.
