BOONEVILLE – Joyce Ricks Knight, 79, died Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013, at her home. She was a member of Worship Center Baptist Church. She enjoyed being at home working in her yard. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at Kesler Funeral Home Chapel in Baldwyn with Bro. Neal Davis and Bro. Robert Wood officating. Burial will be in Prentiss Memorial Gardens. Kesler Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include one daughter, Wanda Kesler (Ronny) of Booneville; three grandsons, Clay Kesler (Brandy), Cayson Kesler(Samantha) and Sam Kesler (Cammie Tedford) all of Booneville; three grandaughters, Carlie McGrew of Jackson, Callie Lyons (Forrest) of Mobile, Ala., and Emma Grace McGrew of Booneville; two great-grandchildren, Logan and Karsyn Kesler of Booneville; and four sisters, Sue Rowlette of Houston, Edith Kurress of Memphis, Bobbie Taylor (Kenneth) of Rison, Ark., and Linda Byrd (Bill) of Wheeler.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dora Cravens; her husband, Buddy Knight; one son, Jeff McGrew; and one grandchild, Josie Faye McGrew.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Ricky and Bubba Thompson, Jimmy Rowlette and Tony Taylor.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time.
