PITTSBORO – Mark Wright, 31, died Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013, at his home. He was born May 3, 1982, in Tupelo. He was a carpenter and a Baptist. He was a loving son, brother and uncle.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 1, at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Bruce. Bro. Will Turner will officiate, and Bro. Robert Earl Alexander will assist. Burial will be in Pinecrest Cemetery in Calhoun City.
He is survived by his mother, Kay Baker Wright of Pittsboro; one sister, Paula Patton (Tommy) of Pittsboro; one brother, Bryan Wright of Pittsboro; his grandmother, Josie Baker Heath of Houston; nieces, Briana Wright of Vardaman, and
Torie and Abbie Patton of Pittsboro; and a nephew, Brennan Wright of Vardaman.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Earl Wright; and his grandparents, Ervin Cleo Wright, Mable Spratlin Wright and Rubel Baker.
Pallbearers will be Chase Clements, Cody Clements, Matthew Haire, Randy Kellum, Kalem Lafayette, Davin McCammon, Jeremy Ray and Cody Weeks.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
