Houlka athletes at World Series

web hka ball Three rising juniors at Houlka High School extended their spring ball seasons through the summer and made trips to the Dizzy Dean World Series.

Johnathon Huffman and Tyreque Reed, both members of the Wildcats baseball team, played summer ball with the Pontotoc Thunder 16U team and took first place at the North State tournament leading them to the Dizzy Dean World Series.
The Thunder finished in the runner-up position at World Series.
Cassie Homan, a member of the Lady Wildcats slow and fast-pitch softball teams, played with the 16U Pontotoc Power team who placed as runners-up in the North State touranment. The Power took top honors in their division as Dizzy Dean World Series champions.
