GUNTOWN – Nancy J. Harris, 48, died Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born July 4, 1965, in Chickasaw County to James Glenn Tharp and Doris Robertson Tharp.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 20, at Full Gospel Deliverance Church in Baldwyn with Pastor Bobby Tyes officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Agnew & Sons Funeral Home of Baldwyn is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Robert Harris ll of Guntown, whom she married July 17, 1993; one daughter, Angelic Hill (Letrone) of Houlka; three stepdaughters, Delisha (Avery) Cowley of Dorsey, Tanisha (Douglas) Schulz and Cartesia Harris, both of Tupelo; two sons, DeWayne Harris of Pontotoc and Anthony Hill of Tupelo; one stepson, Robert Harris lll of Saltillo; two sisters, Annette (Keith) Presley of Guntown and Debbie (James) Harmon of Plantersville; five sisters-in-law and seven brothers-in-law; six grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Michael Tharp; one brother, Glen Tharp; and two grandchildren, Malcolm Cowley and Emileigh Davis.
Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. and the family hour 7-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
