CALHOUN CITY – Agnes Fulgham Vance, 70, died Friday, July 5, 2013, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born June 1, 1943, in Maben to Shelly Fulgham and Myrtle Bowen Fulgham. She was a self-employed beautician, a member of First Baptist Church in Calhoun City, and a member of the Eastern Star.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, July 7, at First Baptist Church in Calhoun City with Bro. Jon Doler and Bro. Mike Smith officiating. Burial will be in College Hill Cemetery in Vardaman. Pryor Funeral Home of Calhoun City is in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. Jimmy Vance of Calhoun City; two daughters, Lawanda (Alan) Prestage of Bruce and Traci Vance of Brandon; three sons, Michael (Melissa) Boykin of Jackson, Darren (Rhonda) Vance of Hernando and Dale (Kim) Vance of Jackson; sister, Marzell Cobb of Hazelhurst; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Pallbearers are Jonathan Blue, Tyler Boykin, Kyle Vance, Dylon Vance, Brandon Cobb, Randy Brooks, Lee Vance, Corey Vance, and Denton Vance.
Honorary pallbearers are Calvin Brooks, Chris Blue, Michael Blue, and her Sunday school class.
