PONTOTOC – An escaped Pontotoc County inmate is back in jail along with his alleged co-conspirator.

Pontotoc County Sheriff Leo Mask said Gary Brooke Sneed, 32, of Houston, was brought back to the Pontotoc County Jail Tuesday.

Sneed walked off a work program site six weeks ago. He was picked up by Florida law enforcement a week after his escape. Mask said he was serving time for drug charges and is now also charged with escape.

Holly Morris, 38, of Pontotoc, was arrested with Sneed and has been charged with aiding and abetting escape.

Their bonds have both been set at $1,000,000.

Morris was out on bond for previous charges and has had her previous bond revoked.
