CALHOUN CITY – Nancy Louise Young Gregg, 70, died Friday, June 21, 2013, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born April 26, 1943, in Dover, N.H., to Donald Young and Hazel Smith Young. She was a self-employed beautician and a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Webster County.
She is survived by her husband, Denny Gregg of Calhoun City; one son, Shawn Edwards of Milbrook, Ala.; one sister, Janice Cloutier of Port Orange, Fla.; one brother, Robert Young of Dencoka, N.H.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy “Snap” Edwards, and her parents.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 26, at Pryor Funeral Home Chapel in Calhoun City. Bro. Matthew White will officiate. Burial will be in Old Bethany Cemetery in Slate Springs.
Pallbearers will be Lonnie Gregg, Barry Gregg, Lynn Ray Gregg, Cody Spark, Danny Gregg and T.E. Griffin.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
