BIG CREEK – Devin Elizabeth Smith Reeves King, 25, died Wednesday, June 19, 2013, as the result of an auto accident on Old Hwy. 8 at Big Creek. She was born Oct. 29, 1987, in Lawton, Okla., to Douglas Smith and Sheila Shirley Smith. She was a homemaker and wife, and a member of First United Pentacostal Church in Houston.
She is survived by her husband, Anthony Neal King of Big Creek; one daughter, Presley Elizabeth Reeves of Houston; two stepsons, Landen Seth Parker of Calhoun City and Anthony Neal King Jr. of Big Creek; her parents, Douglas and Sheila Smith of Snyder Okla.; her grandmother, Charlotte Smith of Tipton, Okla.; two sisters, Stevie Dawne Smith of Houston and Star Kay Smith of Snyder, Okla.; three brothers, Douglas Scott Smith of Oxford, Jonathan McCorkle of Snyder, Okla., and Sean Edward Smith of Snyder, Okla.; her godparents, Wayne and Terri Bristow of Oklahoma City, Okla.; uncles and aunts, James and Carla Smith, and Samuel Smith, all of Tipton, Okla.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, James Smith, and grandparents, Charly and Margaret Shirley.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 22, at Pryor Funeral Home Chapel in Calhoun City. Bro. Jim Crowley and Bro. Matt White will officiate. Burial will be in Wesley Chapel Cemetery at Houston.
Pallbearers will be Scott Smith, Jeremy Smith, Andy Smith, Terry Guthrie, Bobby Joe Crowley, B.J. Long and Jonathan Nix. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Bristow, Clint Whitt, Kade Whitt, Jason Smith, Eric Webster, John Smith and Shalena Marie Smith.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Pryor Funeral Home.
