Okolona Community Dollars for Scholars awarded more community-based scholarships this year than in all of the previous years combing for a total of $13,400 in 2013.
Dollars for Scholars recipients will be recognized at the Eighth Annual OLCI Scholarship and Awards banquet June 7 at the Rockwell-Green Auditorium in Okolona. Former Superintendent Hansell Gunn will serve as guest speaker at the event.
