OKOLONA – Leslie Lynell Nabors, 42, died Friday, May 24, 2013, at North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born April 3, 1971, to Hattie Nabors and Earl Dearing.
She was a graduate of Okolona High School and a former employee of Tecumseh Products Co. and Sonic. She was a member of Clark Chapel Church.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Okolona High School Gymnasium with the Rev. Larry Shannon officiating. Burial will be in Clark Chapel Cemetery. Williams Memorial of Okolona is in charge of the arrangements.
She is survived by two daughters, Tremecia Nabors and Brooklyn Nabors, both of Okolona; two sons, Jeremy Nabors of Oxford and LaJameous Nabors of Okolona; seven sisters, Aline Robinson (Willie) of Aberdeen, Tracey Johnson (Theodore) of Bellwood, Ill., Doris Berry and Tyra Nabors, both of Tupelo, Patricia Stevens (Jessie) of Okolona, Tom Mooney) Bennett, Tammy Nabors, all of Okolona, Rosie McIntosh, Earlene Blanchard, Sarah Bean, all of Okolona; brothers, George Nabors (Gretta) of Fullerton, Calif., Willie Nabors of Okolona, John Nabors (Shelia) of Tupelo; Earl Blanchard , Eldridge Blanchard and Don Blanchard, all of Okolona; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Hattie Nabors; her father, Earl Dearing; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday and a wake will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
