DENVER – Marvin Edward “Ed” Doss passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013. He was born in Houston in 1933 to Cleve and Elizabeth Doss.
He is a graduate of Mississippi State University. He worked as a geologist for Exxon, Louisiana Land and Exploration, and retired from POGO Producing as the general manager. He enjoyed the outdoors with skiing, hunting and golfing as his main hobbies. He was fun-loving, and quick with a joke or a pat on the back. He was devoted to his family and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Lemon Doss; daughters, Stephanie (Perry) Odak of Denver and Margo (Jim) Wingo of great Falls, Va.; ; son, John (Laura) Doss of Denver; grandchildren, Brooke, Max and Sadie; brother, Dr. Wilford Doss of Florence, Ala.; and sister, Jimmye Smith of Monroe, La.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Pavilion A. Bullock Mortuary of Englewood, Colo., is in charge of the arrangements.
