HOULKA – Clarcy Loreane Wilson, 83, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2013, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was a member of Hebron Baptist Church and a lifelong resident of Houlka.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc. Bro. Dean Moody will officiate. Burial will follow in Oak Forest Cemetery. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
She is survived by a daughter, Annette Simmons; grandson, Chad Simmons (Jennifer); granddaughter-in-law, Greta Simmons; great-grandsons, Ethan Sherrill and Cody Hancock; great-granddaughters, Lauren Roseberry (Terry), Briana Simmons and Lexi Serrano; four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Buren Walls; her father, John Wesley Lindsey; her mother, Venice Lindsey; a grandson, Nip Simmons; sisters, Veola Brown and Maeola Warren; and brothers, R.O. Lindsey, Harvel Lindsey and Marvin Lindsey.
Pallbearers will be Terry Roseberry, Ethan Sherrill, Mike Ford, Michael Paden, Dalton Baker, Devon Baker and Sam Russell.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday.
