WEDDING: Williams/Fisackerly

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Daniel Williams of Columbus are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Meryl Kate Williams to Brinton Barrett Fisackerly of Flower Mound, Texas.

Miss Williams is the grand-daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Frank B. Hays, formerly of Columbus and the late Mr. and Mrs. H. Alvin Williams, also formerly of Columbus.

She is a 2006 honor graduate of Columbus High School and a 2010 graduate of Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of the Arts in Public Relations and a minor in Floral Management. While at MSU, she served as the secretary for the Student Chapter of the American Institute of Floral Designers (SAIFD). Before attending MSU, Williams attended Auburn University where she was a member of Sigma Kappa Sorority.

She is an associate at Columbus Brick Company.

Mr. Fisackerly is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Eugene Fisackerly Jr., of Faison, N.C. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Eugene Fisackerly, Sr, of Columbus and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Ernest Carter of Van Vleet.

Fisackerly is a 2005 graduate of Houston High School and a 2009 graduate of Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Construction and Land Development.  While at MSU he was a member and historian of the Kappa Alpha Order and Deans List 2007.

He is currently the Project Manager for Cima General Contractors in Flower Mound.

The couple is planning a 6 p.m., April 27, wedding at Main Street Presbyterian Church in Columbus.
