CRAWFORD – Geraldine Lusk Tarlton Wiseman, 85, died Thursday, March 14, 2013, at her residence. She was born in Calhoun City to Dewey E. and Blondie Bingham Lusk
She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and a graduate of Macon High School. She enjoyed her friends at Trinity and loved playing cards with them every day, except Saturday and Wednesday. Prior to retirement she worked many years at Tarlton’s Store.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Gunter and Peel Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Brad Hodges and the Rev. Tommy Gillion officiating. Interment will follow at Crawford Cemetery in Crawford.
She is survived by her son, John W. Tarlton (Dorothy) of Crawford; her daughter, Mary Tarlton Williams of Starkville; sister, Virginia Boland of Calhoun City; grandchildren, John W. Tarlton III (Janie), Nick Tarlton, Jackie Williams, Pattie Loftis (Lee) and Brian Windle (Karen); and 13 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, John W. Tarlton Sr., and her second huband, Jerry Wiseman.
Pallbearers will be her grandson, John W. Tarlton III, Nick Tarlton, Brian Windle and Lee Loftis. Honorary pallbeares will be her friends from Trinity and Aaron Clark.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to service time Sunday at the funeral home.
