Spring forward

From spring sports to state testing, time is about to fly!

Just a few days ago one of my teachers said, “Okay, everyone pull out your group assignments from August.”. Not only had I thrown mine away, but I was shocked by how fast time has flown. It seems like just yesterday we were all buying new school clothes and getting ready for yet another school year.

Now that all the spring sports are starting up and teachers are buckling down for state testing, we are counting the days until the end of the year. Shockingly there are only about 45 days left until graduation.

Not that the senior class is counting or anything!

With time flying by so quickly and the days getting longer and longer, I can almost feel summer approaching. Since Mississippi weather is so hectic, just when get to hang up our coats for a few days, a cold spell hits and dampens our hopes for summer yet again. Although I am excited about spring and summer swiftly approaching, it’s only a matter of time before the pollen invasion covers our houses and cars.

So as time continues to fly by and the seasons change, don’t forget to stop and appreciate the ones in your life that are worth living for. Don’t miss a minute of gratitude. Time goes by too quickly.
