VARDAMAN – Billy Edmondson died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at his residence. He was born Feb. 8, 1952. He was a member of Varadaman First Baptist Church and a self-employed concrete contractor. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Service is at 2 p.m. Monday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Vardaman, with Bro. Don Wilson officiating. Interment is at Midway Cemetery.
He is survived by his son, Shawn Edmondson (Phadra) Of Vardaman; daughter, Heather M. Edmondson of Calhoun City; mother, Melba Hitt of Vardaman; brothers, Carl Edmondson (Gena) of Vardaman, David Earl “Ken” Edmondson (Diane) of Pontotoc, Jeff Clements (Teresa) of Vardaman and Jerry Clements (Barbara) of Tupelo; sisters, Diane Kirby (Danny) of Houston and Nita James of Calhoun City; and grandchildren, Latreece Cardwell and Braxton Edmondson.
He was proceeded in death by his father, James Edmondson; brother, Dale Halloway; grandparents, Jim and Estelle Reedy, Tom and Thelma Edmondson; and stepfather, Bill Clements.
Pallbearers are Kenny Hamilton, Wade Hamilton, Earl McGregor, Bobby Parker, Dewayne Winter and Gelacio Suasti, Verga “Angel”. Honorary pallbearers are Johnny Cardwell, Robert Wright, Kemp Lucius and Mark Lucius.
Visitation is 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
