BANNER – Charles “Bub” Armond Castleberry, 80, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at his residence. He was born May, 12, 1932, in Bruce. He was retired from Ford Motor Company and Calhoun County Maintaince Department. He was a member of Banner Baptist Church, Banner Masonic Lodge, Shrinners Association of Calhoun County and Woodman of the World.
He was proceeded in death by his father, Kernal Herman Castleberry; his mother, Adell Greene Castleberry; and sister, Justine Stewart.
Service is at 11 a.m. Monday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bobby Caples officiating and Bro. Ricky Harris, and Bro Jackie Douglas assisting. Interment is at Banner Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Arlene “Mulkey” Castleberry of Banner; one daughter, Sherry Ferguson of Banner; one son, Shane “Rizpah” Castleberry of Grenada; two brothers, Tillman Castleberry of Collierville, Tenn., and K.P. “Goldie” Castleberry of Banner; and five grandchildren, Taylor Castleberry of Vardaman, Lucas Ferguson of Banner, Brooke Castleberry of Grenda, Rudy Ferguson of Banner and Easton Castleberry of Grenada.
Pallbearers are Larry Bailey, Ted Camp, Joe Cowsert, Wendel Covan, Wiley Ferguson, Scott Ledbetter,
Bennie Thompson and Barney Wade. Honorary pallbearers are Banner Lodge Mason’s, Homer Brown and Donald Camp.
Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Antioch or Banner Cemetery fund.
