OXFORD – The following University of Mississippi freshmen were awarded scholarship packages for the 2012-2013 academic year based on criteria that included academic and leadership credentials:
Megan Renee Lewis of Okolona received a Ramzy Scholarship for $2,000, a Valedictorian/Salutatorian Scholarship for $1,000, and Academic Excellence Scholarship for $3,000, and a Bledsoe Scholarship for $1,500.
Nathan Eugene Bailey of Okolona received a Valedictorian/Salutatorian Scholarship for $1,000.
Whitney Lynn George of Woodland received an Academic Excellence Scholarship for $2,500 and a Bledsoe Scholarship for $1,500.
Suzanne Reese of Woodland received an Academic Excellence Scholarship for $1,000.
Brianna Faye Caradine of Vardaman received a Valedictorian/Salutatorian Scholarship for $1,000, and Academic Excellence Scholarship for $5,000 and a Bledsoe Scholarship for $2,500.
