The Chiefs took a 21-13 lead in the first quarter and never looked back, leading all four frames and dominating in the fourth again for a big 72-48 district win.
Senior Romiro Kyles had the hot hands in the game, scoring 33 points and shooting 80 percent from the three-point area. Alx Clark had 12 points and Dennis Hughes added nine.
Kyles helped himself on offense with six steals and had four total rebounds while Hughes had seven steals. Clark had six steals and six rebounds in the win.
The Chiefs fell Jan. 11 in non-division play to West Point, 43-52. Kyles led with 17 points followed by Donovan Ivy with 13. Hughes had 12 total boards and Clark had 11.
The Chiefs will be back in action this week traveling to East Union for division play and to Houlka Friday for a county match. They will also compete in the Aberdeen tournament Thursday and Saturday.
