PITTSBORO – Dolores Jean Earhart, 83, died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford. She was born Dec. 29, 1928, in Athens, Ga. She was a retired sales clerk for K-Mart and a member of Pittsboro Baptist Church.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Bruce with Bro. Scotty Bland and Dr. Buford Usry officiating. Burial will be in Pittsboro Cemetery.

Survivors include one daughter, Debbie Easley (Fred) Bullard of Pittsboro; one son, Randy (Ginger) Easley of Chickamauga, Ga.; one stepson, Van (Carolyn) Earhart of Ringo, Ga.; one sister, Pamela Evans of Harrison, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Gary (Jeri) Bullard, Freddy (Sarah) Bullard, Cheryl (Kevin) McCurdy, Michael (Monica) Easley and Scott (Brandy) Easley; 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl F. Roach and Nellie M. Broyles Roach; her husband, Charles Earhart; a son, Gary Easley; two sisters, Zella Leighton and Owata Graves; and one brother, Lowell Roach.
Pallbearers will be Freddy Bullard, Gary Bullard, Gayle Bullard, Van Earhart, Larry Sutton and Steve Turnbloom.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
